about

Live at the Bradford Hotel Ballroom in Boston, 1981. We were opening for The Specials. This would be the last show that they would perform together in their original lineup. Other bands on the bill included The Fabulous Billygoons and Someone and the Somebodies. Audio quality on this one is honestly really terrible. It was recorded across the hall on a boombox with one of the two mics broken. Stereo was sort of recreated here. Anyway, this track is included for it's historical value. Hence we call it the "Historical Mush Version."

Racially mixed, opening for acts identified with the British ska revivial of the time — The Specials, The English Beat, Bad Manners — 007 (Dub7) was frequently labeled a "ska band." ... more
